Bill Byrnes, founder of MUTUALdecision, has been an investment banker with Alex. Brown and Sons and is a former Distinguished Teaching Professor of Finance in the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He has been CEO, chairman and Board Member of both public and private companies, the director of an institutional fund, Georgetown University's Board of Regents and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Currently, Bill serves on the board of directors for CapitalSource (NYSE: CSE) and LoopNet (NMS: LOOP).
George Comer, Ph.D.
Chief Academic Officer
Professor Comer is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University. Professor Comer received a B.A. in Economics (with honors) from the University of Chicago, an M.A. in Economics from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. in Finance from New York University (Stern). His current research focuses on the portfolio evaluation of institutional money managers. Professor Comer has published articles in the
Journal of Business and the
Review of Financial Studies which closely examine the performance of exchange traded funds and hybrid mutual funds.
John P. Broussard, Ph.D.
Chief Modeling Officer
Professor Broussard is an Associate Finance Professor at Rutgers University, where he teaches investments and corporate finance. Professor Broussard's academic research has been published in
Financial Management,
Management Science,
Journal of Financial Services Research,
Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance,
European Journal of Operational Research as well as other scholarly journals. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. from Louisiana State University and an MBA from Millsaps College. Professor Broussard has taught CFA® study review courses since 1999 in Europe, Asia and the U.S. He is a CFA Charterholder, a Certified Financial Risk Manager, and a Professional Risk Manager.
